US and Iran deny any deal for bilateral nuclear talks
2012-10-22
[Al Ahram] Washington and Tehran deny media news which reveals mutual talks over the latter's controversial nuclear program

#1  Given its historical hardline stance, there are only two reasons for Iran to compromise now wid the US vee the P5+1 Nuke talks.

> Iran expects the US attitude to change oer time, e.g. new POTUS Admins. THE "JAPAN MODEL" IS INTERPRETED IN THE US-WEST AS A SUCCESSFUL, ALBEIT PROBLEMATIC, DETERRENCE MODEL - IFF IT WORKED FOR JAPAN, IT CAN WORK FOR IRAN???
> Iran is counting on many or all of the "Arab/
Islamic Spring" Govts. in LT to NOT compromise wid the US + UN, + to proceed forward wid their own indigenous nuclear agendas, actions which in turn would "force" Iran to demand or make changes to any contemporary anti-NucWeaps agreement wid the P5+1 + UNO.

ADVANTAGE - once again, IRAN + RADICAL ISLAM.
