Assad near defeat in Aleppo
2012-11-29
Peyamner News Agency, 28 Nov 2012 -- The Free Syrian Army seized control of the road linking Aleppo to the Raqe Province and declared Aleppo is completely under the control of opposition forces.
(the Peyamner agency is a part of the anti Mullah Mojahedin Org of Iran - they are jumping the gun a bit but there is no doubt that Assad forces have been beaten up badly in and near Aleppo)

#8  The Alawite homeland is supposed to be fairly good defensive terrain, if that's seriously attacked I can see gas being used.

#3  Okay, so Assad's out. Do we get another MB dictatorship or a Talibunny on Israels border?
How long do the Alawites have before they're all killed? Will they flee to Jordan? Leb? Iraq? Turkey?

One more cesspool just gets dug deeper.

Oh, BTW, who will the Russkis sell their arms to now?
