[Egypt Independent] Opposition activist Ibrahim Hanafy, who disappeared a few days ago during a protest outside the Ettehadiya Presidential Palace, was found by police Thursday evening naked, bound and injured in the desert outside of Asher Men Ramadan City. Marks indicating torture covered his body.Hanafy is the media coordinator for the Free Front for Peaceful Change. The group's general coordinator, Maher Zayed, told Al-Masry al-Youm that the front filed a missing persons report with the police after Hanafy's disappearance, and accused four Brotherhood members of abducting him.
A warning letter to opposition activists in Asher Men Ramadan City was found next to Hanafy, Zayed claimed.
The activist has been transferred to a hospital in the city.
