Search for Chokri Belaid shooter intensifies |

[MAGHAREBIA] Tunisian security forces on Thursday (February 28th) launched a manhunt in Kef for the suspected killer of opposition leader Chokri Belaid. The search operation is focused on the mountainous region near Touiref. In related news Thursday, the judge charged with the investigation into the politician's February 6th killing took a deposition from President Moncef Marzouki. "President Moncef Marzouki received this morning the judge of the Tunis first instance tribunal, who heard his testimony as a witness in the liquidation of Chokri Belaid," a brief statement from Marzouki's office said.
