| 10 militants killed in Orakzai |

| [Dawn] Ten militants were killed and six others wounded when jetfighters pounded their hideouts in Mamozai area of Orakzai tribal region on Monday. Sources said that jetfighters targeted militant positions in Chappar area in Mamozai tehsil of upper Orakzai Agency at 11am. They said that six militant hideouts were destroyed in the area. Sources said that 10 militants were killed and six others sustained injuries in the action. Local people retrieved bodies and injured from the debris, they added. Ismail Khan and Mirza Khan, two eyewitnesses, said that several vacated houses were destroyed during the bombing. Sources said that militants cordoned off the area and restricted movement of local people. |
