| Blasts in Hangu and Bajaur kill four |

| [BETA.DAWN] A blast in Bajaur tribal region killed two persons and injured another on Wednesday. The blast occurred near the election office of Haji Abdul Mannad, an Awami National Party (ANP) candidate from the area. Earlier during the day, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went kaboom!in the central market of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... 's Hangu district ... Hangu is famous for its greenery, hills, beauty and water. Most of the people of this area are Bangash & Orakzai Pashtuns. Part of the Bangash are Shia. The Orakzai and the Sunni Bangash are determined to kill them... killing two persons and injuring eleven others on Wednesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Hussain Badshah told Dawn.Com that the bomb was planted on a hand cart and went kaboom!when their was huge rush in the bazaar injuring 13 persons. Rescue and emergency teams reached the site of kaboom and shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital Hangu for medical treatment. Moreover three people, including two women and a policeman, were killed while 27 others, among them 10 women and kiddies, nine coppers and eight civilians were maimed as gunnies targeted Bannu's Domail Police station with a boom-mobile today. |
