Six killed in Torghar remote controlled blast |

[Pak Daily Times] At least six people including three coppers were killed and more than 10 injured in a remote controlled blast near a police van in Torghar on Thursday. Constables Sahib Khan, Nazir Ahmad and a passer-by Saeed Ahmad were rushed to hospital in Thakot after the blast. Sahib Khan, however, succumbed to injuries before reaching the health facility. According to police, Death Eaters detonated a remote-controlled device concealed in sand near the River Indus. A police party was deployed to check the passengers of ferries moving from Judbah to Darband and other parts of Hazara when the blast occurred. The police have cordoned off the areas and have initiated search operation against the terrorists, DPO stated. |
