IMU takes credit for Quetta suicide bombing |

The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) has taken credit for a suicide bombing on May 11 in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province in Pakistan. Pakistani officials say at least six people, mostly police and paramilitary soldiers, were killed and more than 60 others were wounded in the attack. The IMU e-mailed a statement to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty on May 13. It said attack was carried out by a 52-year-old IMU member of Tatar origin.
