| [Dawn] Gunmen on Thursday killed the driver of a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... supply truck driving through northwest Pakistain near the Afghan border, local officials said. The shooting took place in the Jamrud area of Khyber, one of seven districts that make up the restive semi-autonomous tribal belt. "Two gunnies on a cycle of violence fired at a NATO truck and killed its driver," local government official Asmatullah Wazir told AFP. Local intelligence and health officials confirmed the killing, for which there was no immediate claim of responsibility. |
