2013-06-29 |
[Pak Daily Times] Foreign and local humanitarian aid organizations shut down their offices at the Jalozai IDP camp in Nowshera district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... on Friday after security agencies alerted them to a potential terrorist attack. According to government officials, the offices were closed on Friday morning due to threats of an attack targeting the aid organizations. Khalid Usman, the in-charge at the Jalozai camp, confirmed that all offices, including those of the United Nation's WFP, United Nations ...a formerly good idea gone bad... High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), World Health Organisation (WHO), and all local civic and health providing NGOs, were asked to shut down due to threats. Khalid said all offices would remain shut until further notice. |
