According to Justice Department tracing documents obtained by CBS News, all three guns are WASR-10 762-caliber Romanian rifles. Two were purchased by Fast and Furious suspect Uriel Patino in May and July of 2010. Sean Steward, who was convicted on gun charges in July 2012, purchased a third. The rifles were traced yesterday to the Lone Wolf gun shop in Glendale, Ariz. | |

#2 No American Presidential pardon effects Mexican law. The one bright spot that some day an extradition request will be honored. |

#1 This commenter nailed it, and I suspect a similar program was undertaken in Benghazi. Different end game, same gun-running template: UGottabeonsomething says: It's obvious this whole episode is being covered up for political reasons. The truth of it will come eventually but I believe that the people responsible are being protected. Holder was the front man, there was pressure on him to make this happen and it blew up in their face. We were never suppose to find out that the BATF allowed these guns to go through. It was done to make the common gun owner look like the bad guy and justify weapons bans. |
