Other sources report that 3 Shabaab fighters died during the fighting including a high ranking official known as Dega yare.
Reports add that Alshabab fighters attacked the gunnies who recently opened gunfire to a truck transporting goods.
The gunnies seized a vehicle owned by Alshabab for a while but Alshabab reclaimed the vehicle later on.
Tensions are high in the town and the surrounding areas which is now in the hands of Alshabab and the gunnies might retaliate back any time.
The confrontations came at a time when there are emerging reports of disputes between residents and Alshabab fighters in the region.
