| Jordan backs Egypt efforts to 'impose law' |

| [Al Ahram] Jordan said on Friday it backs Egypt's efforts to "impose rule of law" and "combat terrorism," in its first official reaction to the deadly crackdown on the Moslem Brüderbund. "Jordan stands by Egypt in its serious efforts to impose the rule of law and restore security and stability," Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said in a statement carried by state-run Petra news agency. "Egypt is seeking to combat terrorism and attempts (by others) to meddle in its affairs," he said. Judeh hailed remarks by Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor.
