| Judge Interrogates 3 Detainees Charged with Belonging to an 'Armed Terrorist' Organization |

| [An Nahar] Military Examining Magistrate Judge Fadi Sawan questioned on Monday Ibrahim Khanjar and his brother Wassim and Mohammed Hmeid, who are charged with belonging to an armed terrorist organization and the possession of weapons. According to the state-run National News agency, the three men are also accused of carrying out terrorist acts and the possession of explosives. Ibrahim is also involved in opening fire at an army patrol at the end of July in the Bekaa town of Majdal Anjar and killing a soldier and injuring another. Their release took place amid unclear circumstances. |
