UN Sec Gen Ban warns against military action on Syria without UN support |
2013-09-04 |
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is warning that any "punitive" action taken against Syria for an alleged chemical weapons attack last week could unleash more turmoil and bloodshed in that nation's civil war. Wouldn't that be the intention? Ban also cautioned nations such as the United States and France that may be considering such strikes that they are legal only in self-defense under the U.N. Charter or if approved by the U.N. Security Council. Ban's statement probably gives some Republicans a good reason to support military action He's just another fool. See also, Kerry... |

#3 could unleash more turmoil and bloodshed in that nation's civil war. Appears the Secretary General was info-copied on the Rand study. |
