| Armed assailants kill army conscript, injure 3 on Ismailiya-Cairo Road |

| [Al Ahram] Armed assailants targeted a military checkpoint on the Ismailiya-Cairo Desert road on Sunday, killing one conscript and injuring three others, Al-Ahram's Arabic website reported. The assailants reportedly attacked the checkpoint with automatic weapons from two cars. Security forces have closed off all exits on the Ismailiya-Cairo Desert Road in search of the attackers, who were last seen heading towards 10th of Ramadan City. |
