OPEC's crude oil production fell below 30-million barrels a day in September. That's the first time that's happened in more than two years. There are two main reasons for the drop in OPEC production. John Kingston of Platts says one is a temporary problem, while the other is ongoing and may be more troublesome. |

#1 Didn't I read somewhere that the USA became the largest oil producer in the world within this last year ? If so then the country has the chance of exporting oil, hence reversing the tide in the balance of payments issue. |
