'Taliban are against confrontation.' Really.

[Dawn] Markazi Jamaat Ahle-e-Hadith (MJAH) Chief Senator Sajid Meer told news hounds on Sunday that the government had prepared a framework to initiate talks with Talibs.

The senator did not explain the framework.

"A majority of Taliban is against confrontation with the Pakistain army and the government," he claimed, adding "the talks with Taliban will remain successful if serious and wholehearted efforts from both sides are made."
Then his lips fell off.
He said those creating hurdles in government-Taliban talks were against Pakistain.
