Rand Paul pushes constitutional amendment on Congress
2013-10-22
h/t Instapundit
Forget the Vitter amendment. Rand Paul wants to make sure that Congress canÂ’t ever again write laws with provisions specific to lawmakers.
The Kentucky freshman Republican has introduced a constitutional amendment that would preclude senators and representatives from passing laws that donÂ’t apply equally to U.S. citizens and Congress, the executive branch and the Supreme Court. The amendment is aimed squarely at Obamacare provisions specific to members of Congress and their staffs that became a central point of contention during the government shutdown.
A traitor to his class!

#7  ...strange how the 'equal before the law' thingy somehow doesn't apply when it comes to that situation isn't it? And here I thought that redistribution thingy was also about outcome rather than opportunity.

#6  I would go one farther and have it apply to all federal employees, including federal judges too.

#5  The Fed will after China opens fire agz Japan + PHIL, etal. in East Asia, + the Bammer Admin claims that the US can't intervene because it can no longer econ afford to.

The bad US-World Econ, Sequester, Shutdown, + post-Shutdown, etc. new threats is the PCorrect-Deniable cover story - WHEN THE US MAINSTREAM = VOTERS FIND OUT THAT THE ABOVESAME WERE INTENTIONAL OR PRE-PLANNED TO OCCUR, + PART OF A LT, ANTI-US, OWG-NWO GLOBALIST AGENDA THATS WHEN THE CIVIL WAR = "SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION" WILL BEGIN.

People can forgive a honest or sincere mistake - they won't forgive a wilful, calculated lie or deception that results in deliberate + protractive mass suffering + confusion.

#4  This shouldn't require an amendment. But then, Congress is not known for being moral.

#3  But the elitist vote will be made very public for reelection.

Won't help the Republic. The fix is in. If Obamacare doesn't bring down the elites, nothing will.

#1  I'm all for it, but it will never pass. The ruling class will not allow it.

Let them eat cake.
