Obama has no 'patience' for 'professional blacks' in CBC: 'Double Down' authors
2013-11-09
[WASHINGTONTIMES] President B.O.'s disagreements with the tea party are well known, but a new book reveals there is no love lost between him and "professional blacks."

In "Double Down: Game Change 2012" by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the president is said to have no "patience" with members of the Congressional Black Caucus whom he sees less as black professionals and more like "professional blacks," Breitbart reports.

"Obama had little patience for the 'professional left,' and vanishingly close to zero for what one of his senior African American aides, Michael Strautmanis, referred to as 'professional blacks' (as opposed to black professionals)," Mr. Halperin and Mr. Heilemann write. "Apart from Georgia congressman John Lewis and Jim Clyburn
...Democratic Representative-for-Life from South Carolina. He has been warming his safe seat since 1993...
of South Carolina, Obama had nearly as much contempt for the CBC as he did for the Tea Party Caucus."

The authors say the Rev. Jesse Jackson was "effectively banned" from the White House and note that Rep. Charles B. Rangel is regarded as "a hack."

#6  Obama had nearly as much contempt for the CBC as he did for the Tea Party Caucus.”

So far, Obozo has not used the CBC as a political football whereas he blames the Tea Party for all his own failings every chance he gets.

#4  Anything to do with the CBC obstruction to amnesty (and millions of more Donk registered voters for the Permanent Party Machine)? The party made them. I guess the party can unmake them as well if they obstruct the needs of the party.

#3  It used to be that no Black Man would ever vote democrat as that was the root of party of slavery. Now it is about not being Marxist enough or just not agreeing.

Race is no longer about skin color but deep political ideology, party management, and POWER.

#2  Not quite certain how the author has made the leap from "professional blacks" to the CBC, but Champ's disaffection is understandable. With leftist pals and agents like Lewis and Clyburn, who else do you actually need ?

The graphic is one of my personal fav's by the way.... Champ shunning the light of day.
