MOGADISHU -- Unidentified assailants gunned down top legal official in Mogadishu in the latest of string of assassinations targeting Somali Government officials on Saturday morning according to witnesses, Garowe Online reports.Federal Government of Somalia's Justice Minister Abdullahi Abyan Nur said that late Hassan Nur Mohamed was killed on his way to the office in Mogadishu's Huriwaa district by masked attackers. According to witnesses the assailants escaped from the scene of crime and the local authorities insist that investigations are underway.
Mohamed has been serving as the judge of Huriwaa court, Minister Nur told reporters in Mogadishu.
