| Truck bomb kills at least four Afghan policemen |

| At least four Afghan policemen were killed when a suicide bomber drove a truck filled with explosives into a police base. The incident happened in Wardak province, southwest of Kabul. The explosion occured as worshippers gathered at the police base mosque for morning prayers. Seventeen others were injured, some of them critically. The Taliban said they carried out the attack. |
