| India demands apology for diplomat arrest in NYC |

[DAWN] India's information minister lashed out at the United States on Friday and demanded an apology for the treatment of a diplomat who was tossed in the clinkDrop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages! in New York, saying America cannot behave ''atrociously'' and get away with it. The Dec. 13 arrest and strip-search of Devyani Khobragade, India's deputy consul general in New York, has sparked a diplomatic storm between the United States and India. |

| #4 She had a court date for falsifying a VISA application - that's fraud. Fraud has penalties. She had an attorney represent her and they lost her case. She was guilty and the judge gave her a few hours jail time. When you go to jail, you are processed. Cavity searches are part of that process. If you think she was treated improperly then you are advocating special treatment because everyone who goes to gets asked to spread em, and I'm not talking hands. |
