Four killed in three terrorist attacks in southern Thailand |

Witnesses said a unit of rangers was escorting monks when a roadside bomb was detonated. In another attack, a 64-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Pattani's Khok Pho district. Witnesses said the victim was traveling on the road when a gunman riding pillion on another motorcycle shot at him with a handgun. He was shot in the head and died at the scene. In the third attack, a police officer was killed and four others injured in a bomb explosion in Yala's Than To district.
