| 15 Iraqi soldiers die in attack on military post |

| [LATINO.FOXNEWS] At least 15 Iraqi soldiers were killed Tuesday in an attack on a military post located in the northern province of Nineveh. The attackers, suspected of being linked to Al Qaeda, slit the throats of most of the troops and then fled the area, a security source in Nineveh told Efe. After the pre-dawn attack, Iraqi army troops deployed in the zone and reestablished control of the base, launching a widespread sweep to try and capture the attackers, the source said, adding that the assault had the hallmarks of operations by Al Qaeda. |
