| Smugglers wound conscript on borders with Israel |

| [Egypt Independent] A conscript was injured on Monday as a result of being shot by smugglers on borders with Israel, south of Rafah. Mohamed Abdel Nasser Mahmoud, 21, from central security troops of North Sinai, was shot in the leg while confronting the smugglers. He was transferred to Arish military hospital for treatment. |
