| Two Thai policemen unharmed by bomb |

| Two policemen escaped unharmed when a bomb went off beneath their armored truck on a road in Pattani province on Monday night. Investigators said it was a home-made bomb which was detonated remotely when the police vehicle passed over it. The blast severely damaged the pickup truck, but the officers inside the vehicle were not hurt.
