#2 What this story says to me is something simple: if I'm a Christian in a land where Muslims were going after my fellow believers, it's time to arm up and defend the congregation, the church buildings, and the faithful at large. Boko Harem in Nigeria and Cameroon, and the Shaboobs in Kenya, make it clear that the violent Islamicists at the bloody border of Islam aren't going to be stopped by usual policing. The armies in these kinds may not be well equipped and disciplined enough to root out the terrorists. So it's up to the church elders to make sure the flock are protected. |
