Egypt Limits Air Conditioning In Mosques As Power Shortages Worsen
2014-04-16
[Ynet] Egypt, facing the worst energy shortages for years, has set limits for electricity use at mosques as part of government efforts to ease the impact of power cuts already affecting homes and factories.

The religious endowments minister has ordered mosques not to run air conditioners before May 15 and after that date to use air conditioning only during prayer time and half an hour before and after the call to prayer.
Yet another sign that religious Muslims are no longer a favoured group in Egypt... and a reminder that in the Middle East summer is when Death goes hunting.

#6  If the tenants of the belief system hold consistent, the Imams will first disable the a/c in the "Ladies" section of the explodieorium. Once done, the burkas will begin to come off and, next thing you know, there's a pillow-fight breaking out!
