#7  Back in the 80's Popular Science did a study of all kinds of alternative fuels.

From all aspects the conclusion of the study was was gas is best.

#5  Nuclear power leads the pack by a longshot on safe clean carbon-free energy yet the luddites in the environmental movement still treat nuclear as if it has the cooties because they don't want solutions, they want to veto every options, be holier than thou and pray the masses die. Sick bastards.

Circa 2005: Ethanol added to gasoline. It will cost a bit more, but it will help keep the environment safe.

#1  A $500,000 study paid for by the federal government...

Expect a $1 million study soon saying that corn fuels are the best thing since tummy rubs and the scientists who did this one to have their grant money dry up.
