An appropriate response to the terrs, if involvement is deemed appropriate. Too little, too late I fear.
SAS works best when sent quickly and quietly...

#10  If sent, the ROE should be "Boko Haram casualties are irrelevant - no bag limit, kill many as you can while achieving mission objectives"

#9  Well, if I were a Terrorist, of whatever stripe, I now know of the potential responses I could expect of swiping kids.

#7  That's interesting Deacon Blues,I did a little Google search and was wondering about their faith. Couldn't find much other than to say most of the main-stream media images are showing weeping mothers wearing hijabs. Terrible business, but I wonder if the national backlash might be (other than increased security in girl schools) greater determination to put the girls in school. Me thinks some (Western-backed) special forces intervention might clean out some of the rubbish in the coming months. One hopes.

#6  Belmont Club says 90% are christian. 53 have escaped. some have already been forcibly married to other Boko Haram members.

#5  I'd think if its being done right, this is old news for good reason. I'll leave it to Ambassador Stevens for the dissenting opinion.

#4  Well between the SAS and Team 6, I suppose Boko Haram should now worry about Hollande sending the Legion into the fray also.

Can Putin spare some black berets from his festival in Crimea?

I wonder why no one ever answered Goodluck Jonathan when he asked the UN "Who is financing these maniacs" I hope the combined services of some really rough men focused on the problem will give us some really embarrassing answers to that question.

#3  I mean there was a movie some years back, 300 Brides for 50 Brothers, it was a musical IIRC.

#2  There's a link? And they're Muslim? I assumed it was some oddball Nigerian hillbilly fight.

#1  Interesting to note how infrequently mentioned by the MSM; the connection between Boko Haram [or any variant of radical Islam] and human trafficking and slavery.
