IN A landmark decision on genetically modified (GM) canola and property rights, the much-anticipated verdict in the Marsh v Baxter case has found in favor of GM canola grower Michael Baxter.
The Luddites, including Greenpeace, have have been checked. GM crops will be what keeps the world from starving in the future.

#3  the neighbor lost his "organic" certification because some of the GM seeds blew into his fields and sprouted

If the genetic modification included pest resistance then the neighbor was spared having the wind deposit pesticide residue on his organic crops.

#1  The problem was the neighbor lost his "organic" certification because some of the GM seeds blew into his fields and sprouted. He pulled out the offending GM plants, but still lost his certification. Looks to me like his real complaint lies with the certification agency, not his neighbor!
