Press Laughs at Psaki Saying Obama 'Doesn't Give Himself Enough Credit'
2014-05-31
[FREEBEACON] State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki was openly mocked by the assembled press corps Thursday after saying President B.O. "doesn't give himself enough credit for what he's done around the world."

News Agency that Dare Not be Named news hound Matt Lee asked sarcastically whether he deserved 200 percent credit, while another one wondered for what "accomplishments" Psaki meant he deserves more praise.

"For engagement initiatives like Iran, what we've done on Ukraine, efforts to dive in and engage around the world," she said.

"I mean, Russia has still annexed Crimea," another news hound asked. "I mean, Iran -- there's ongoing negotiations, but is that the success here that you're talking?"

"We're talking about engagement in the world and taking on tough issues that present themselves," Psaki said. "And the United States continues to play a prominent role doing that."

#14  So Champ should get a participant trophy?

He already has a Nobel Peace prize. Hey, don't you get those things out of a box of Cracker Jacks these days?

#13  More like....'scratch his balls' and whistle Dixie.

#12  Is it "engage" the ball, or "address" the ball?

#10  I think O should get BOTH NBA and NFL most valuable player awards this year.
'Cause, it really doesn't matter whether he has anything to do with it or not, right?
(Oops, I left out Pro Golf...)

#9  If I were him, being him, I wouldn't give myself credit for the smaht diplomacy either - except he killed bin laden three times last week.

He participated? Who knew?

About all he did was draw lines in the sand which everyone laughed at. Then he went played golf.

Thank God for the game of Golf.

#7  965 days until inauguration day but who's counting. If it happens to be Hildebeast, then the Dark Ages continue. Another round of Sisyphus pushing the rock up the hill. Eight years becomes interminable.

Jen Psaki is a loser. It is about as difficult to lister to her as it is the ONE or Carney. Thank God Carney is leaving.

#3  I dont care about the self-praise deficiency, Besoeker, but I think he really needs a LOT more personal time off - 24/7/365.

#2  Jen Psaki is a particularly self-unaware and lacking spokeshole

#1  The Champ is lacking in self-praise and personal time off. That was my thinking as well.
