| [DAWN] Describing Pakistain as being in a 'war zone', Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan promised in the National Assembly on Tuesday that there would be a review of security options and a 'reaction' to Sunday night's deadly terrorist attack at Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... airport. Briefing the house about what he called 'raw courage' shown by security personnel in their battle with heavily armed bad boys, in which 29 people were killed from both sides, he also called for patience and a united struggle to face a 'serious security situation' facing the country. |
