Trey Gowdy Nails The IRS Commisioner To The Wall In Congressional Hearing

#11  OS,

Sometime between slim and none. And Slim left town.

I would hope they don't until after November. The press could convince too many people that this is a witch hunt. If the Repubs reclaim the Senate, I would hope they would go after this whole criminal organization through the RICO act.

But they won't.

#10  By the way, it now appears they have Koskinene caught in 2 specific instances of lying under oath. When will the GOP grow a pair and prosecute these Obama administration liars?

#9  Gowdy is a former prosecutor. I expect he knows every trick in the book these kind of people will use to attack him, and I would hope he is well prepared.

#8  I hope Gowdy's taxes are impeccably accurate and documented, because he's sure to get a thorough audit or ten.

#5   Koskinen Democrat Donor to the tune of about $100,000. Former IRS Commissioners Schulman and Miller were "well placed" also. There has been quite a bit of turnover in Commissioners at the IRS. Makes it easier for Commissioners to say: "I don't know. I wasn't here at the time. Wasn't on my watch." More and more distance between smoking guns and those at the top.

#4  Wonder if anyone's looked at his taxes lately?

Taxes? No. Unfettered feet thrashing wildly from 18 inches off the ground, and the evacuation and bowels and bladder..... please call me immediately. I'd gladly purchase a ticket to watch, and picnic on the grounds.

#3  Mr. Koskinen is a long time Democratic party operative and major funder. Wonder if anyone's looked at his taxes lately?

No, actually I don't wonder at all.

#2  I can think of no better argument for the abolishment of the IRS than this fellow Koskinen. His obstructive comments and facial expressions exude contempt, insolence, and disdain.

#1  Finally, a smart guy with cajones.
