| Did not order police to fire at PAT workers: Rana Sanaullah |

| [The Nation (Pak)] Former Punjab Law minister Rana Sanaullah today submitted his statement as he appeared before judicial court, set up to probe the Model Town tragedy. According to the submitted statement to the commission, Rana Sanaullah said he didn't order police to open fire on the PAT workers. "I was told that the workers of PAT threw stones on the coppers?" he said. The former minister said that he informed the whole situation to the Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif ...Pak dynastic politician, brother of PM Nawaz Sharif, chief minister of Punjab... Following the festivities which took place on June 17, 2014 between police and PAT workers, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif removed the former law minister and former principal secretary from their posts. |
