Russian deputy PM mocks Obama by tweeting 'unmanly' photo of president
2014-08-03
There was a time when, if a foreign power "tweaked" our President, we would respond with, at least, home-team indignation. Now, the Libs express a resounding "Tut-Tut," and the 'Pubs bray laughter ("My name is Uncle Phester, and I am a brayer.").

Don't know that anything excepting a "Third Way" (thank you Mr. Clinton) will get us back to where we need to be.

Is there sufficient time remaining?

#23  Psychological warfare. They believe they are hitting his hot buttons, in regards to his narcissism.

Perhaps the Republicans could hire them as campaign consultants.

#22  All photo's of Obama are unmanly. That's because he's a mincing little pooftah.

#20  And Americans respond to horsepucky too - Obama and the press are a prime example of how much they engage the American people to fool themselves - some segments far more than others (minorities, progressives, far right, far left)

#19  JohnQC, yes they certainly do - at least in the short run. But eventually the ever-present slavic cynicism kicks in.

#18  I guess Michelle retired Obungle's "Mom Pants" he wore when he muffed the opening game pitch. That is a good thing. Putin seems to be obsessed with projecting his manly image. Do the Russian people really respond to this horsepucky?

That translates like "For the fatherland!". Wish America had ministers or even a President who sang that.

#13  Well you know when patrons pick out the live lobster they will have at fancy restaurants?

That is what Obama is doing in the picture. Having a picture taken with his 'dinner'.

#12  Putin with a pet, Obama with lunch?

#11  I've heard that because Putin is so short he has a Napoleon complex. Out president seems to channeling his inner Pee Wee Herman or that guy that was rejected by the Village People as being too "twee."

#2  Among other things the PM is head of the Russian Rocket forces and production and sales of the motors for the ATLAS rockets used to lift quite a few USAF and NRO sats. Just last night one of the Atlas' was expended lofting a new style GPS sat. So without proof of the new motors being shipped - Note the PM's words claiming embargo of new engines for the military... this is not going to ended cleanly.

#1  It's not "unmanly", it's uh... nuanced. Yeah, nuanced.

The poor dog looks mortified.
