| Herat Police Chief Blames Iran for Insecurity |

Police Chief, General Samiullah Qatrah, on Sunday made claims that Iran was partly behind the recent wave of attacks that have gripped the province, and maintained that there are documents proving Iran's support for local bully boys. General Qatrah said plots for killing security officials, police and soldiers have been hatched in Iran, adding that several Taliban capos who played roles in recent attacks in Herat are able to freely enter Iran and return to Afghanistan unimpeded.
