Egypt: Convoy Attack Tuesday Result Of Explosive Device Inside Terror Tunnel

[Ynet] An Egyptian official security source said Wednesday that the attack that killed 11 Egyptian soldiers in Egyptian Rafah area was conducted using an bomb planted in a tunnel that was dug beneath a main traffic artery in the city.

Geez -- it's not enough that they turn Gaza into a Swiss cheese of tunnels, but now they're digging up the Sinai, too.

In addition, a gunnies rubbed out an Egyptian off-duty policeman on Wednesday in the restive north of the Sinai Peninsula, a security official said.

The official said the 32-year-old first sergeant was walking home after work when gunnies opened fire, killing him on the spot in el-Arish, the thriving provincial capital.

A further point:

Over a dozen coppers have been shot in the same neighborhood, home to many coppers, since last summer.

#1 If the Gazooks can p*ss off both their Egyptian and Israeli neighbors enough, at the same time, then perhaps their awkward 'situation' can be resolved - hammer and anvil style - and they can swim to Lebanon.
