| [MAGHAREBIA] New concern over the border area between Libya, Tunisia and Algeria is leading security officials from the three countries to work together to stem the threat. The issue came to the fore following claims in the Tunisian press about recently discovered smuggling tunnels linking Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. Citing Al Sarih on August 17th, Algerie360.com reported that Algerian security forces had secured and neutralised several of these purported underground passages. |
