#13  Israel's policies have led to demographic pressure that's made the West Bank and Gaza far more Muslim than in 1948,” explained one Middle East analyst.

Liar. Christians have been fleeing Dar al Islam long before there was an Israel, mainly to the West.

#12  The Times of Israel adds this coda to the story:

In response to the disruption, In Defense of Christians president Toufic Baaklini issued an official statement saying: “A few politically motivated opportunists chose to divide a room that for more than 48 hours sought unity in opposing the shared threat of genocide, faced not only by our Christian brothers and sisters, but our Jewish brothers and sisters and people of other all other faiths and all people of good will.”

Baaklini made it clear that the participants who hijacked Cruz’s address did not adhere to IDC’s principles and were no longer welcome at the summit.

A strong response, and one that should be welcomed.

No, it's the outside world's policy of supporting chronic failure in the face of Malthusian doctrine that explains the demographic consequence. You get more of what you subsidize.

#8  This was at a dinner gala in DC.
Ted Cruz represents everything they hate, i.e. anyone but the 'professional lobbyist-politician class' having influence; no matter what he said, they would have booed.

If true, this is just another case of cringing cowards trying to appease the oppressor. Maybe the crocodile will eat them last. Pfui.

#6  a long history of anti Semitism in the Eastern Orthodox church is hard to eliminate

many Lebanese and Palestinian Christians blame Israel for the rise of Islamic terrorism, partly because their leaders had to do this to survive amongst the moslems

#5  IMO, the ones who (at present) are "pro-Israel" are merely smarter.
