#8 I was all for strikes in Syria; but now also vs. Syria, neither. We use drones, Syria gets a shot at anti-drone theory and whether they shoot one down or not will improve air defense capability, which I would imagine they would share with their allies. Using manned aircraft creates the scenario of a shoot down with captive airmen. So we tomahawk Syria without a UN fig leaf, or do nothing and look the toothless hooker. Did Barry just deep six our foreign policy for a long shot grab at the media hill for election purposes? Seems to me hawks and doves on all sides are wtf. |
