| Karachi: Notorious gangster 'Bhaloo' killed |

| [NATION.PK] Karachi- Karachi police has allegedly shot dead a notorious gangster after a fierce gun-battle in the slums of Manghopir area today. "Mehfoofullah aka 'Bhaloo', which literally means bear, was wanted for more than hundred counts of violent crimes like manslaughter, assault, aggravated assault, kidnapping, armed robberies, rape, weapons offenses, possession of illegal arms, etc," a police official said. "Khat Bhaloo! Khat Balooooo! He's mean and evil through and through..." Additional Inspector General of Karachi Police, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, has announced a reward of Rs500, 000 for the team of Crime Investigation Department (CID) officers, which carried out the successful operation risking their lives. According to the officials, 'Bhaloo, who was once a part of a political party's militant wing and an outlawed militant organization. |
