| Iranian envoy given demarche over border clashes |

| [DAWN] Iranian ambassador was summoned to Foreign Office on Saturday to receive a demarche following border festivities that left a Pak paramilitary soldier dead. No statement was issued by FO about the summoning of Ambassador Ali Raza Haghighian. However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... a source said that Iran was asked to investigate the incident in which a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was killed and at least three others were maimed due to firing by Iranian border guards. The incident happened after some The Iranian ambassador's visit to FO was preceded by another incident of Iranian troops firing mortars into Pak territory. |
