[Tolo News] According to Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, front man to the Badakhshan police chief, more than 33 Taliban, including foreigners, have been killed in ongoing festivities between Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) and the Taliban in Warduj district of Badakhshan province. Ahmadzai asserted that the ANSF have destroyed all krazed killer safe-havens in the district.More than 300 Taliban faceless myrmidons attacked police outposts in Warduj earlier this week, killing four coppers and taking few others captive. Additional troops were deployed to the area for support and backup.

Badakhshan's neighboring province, Kunduz, also witnessed major festivities between the Taliban and the ANSF on Monday of the same week. According to reports, the Taliban have taken control of 30 villages in Kunduz, including Gor Tapa and Imam Saheb.
The Taliban have grabbed credit for the attacks on Warduj, saying that a number of ANSF soldiers have been killed in the attack.
