| Four karaoke bar bombings rock Pattani |

| Suspected insurgents bombed four karaoke bars in Pattani downtown Friday evening, killing one teenage girl and injuring two others. The first blast took place at about 5.45 p.m. Shortly afterward, the second bomb exploded at another karaoke bar in town, killing a 17-year old Laotian girl. At the third bar hit, a woman was injured, then a fourth bomb hit another karaoke bar. Suspected insurgents also torched two telephone signal towers in Narathiwat province. |
