| IS prepares to attack al-Amiriyat, Fallujah says head of local council |

| [Iraq News] On Tuesday, the head of al-Amiriyat council, Shaker Mahmoud, stated that ISIS is gathering forces of Evil to advance towards the area with heavy weapons and mortars. Mahmoud informed IraqiNews.com "ISIS forces of Evil are gathering in al-Hasa and al-Razaza lake near al-Amiriyat, 23 km south of Fallujah. The forces of Evil are carrying heavy weapons and preparing for an offensive operation against al-Amiriyat." He said, "We did receive reinforcements consisting of weapons, gear and ammunition, which the central government has ordered to support police forces and volunteer fighters in the city, however, the situation inside al-Amiriyat is dire." Mahmoud also asked the government to send emergency and humanitarian aid for thousands of displaced families. |
