University Instructor: U.S. Troops Worse than the Islamic State |
2014-11-05 |
![]() ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (IS) and for portraying American soldiers as anti-Moslem rapists who commit crimes on par with--or even worse than--IS itself. University of Arizona instructor Musa al-Gharbi--who also serves as an academic affiliate at the university's Southwest Initiative for the Study of Middle East Conflicts (SISMEC)--drew the controversial comparison between IS (also known as ISIL or ISIS) and U.S. soldiers in a recent column arguing that America's moral outrage at IS's crimes is hypocritical. |

#3 This just demonstrates that they'll let anyone be a university instructor, as long as they don't have to give him tenure. He'll probably get an endowed chair paid for by the Saudis. |

#2 ....arguing that America's moral outrage at IS's crimes is hypocritical. He's only a bit confused. It's the Champ's moral courage regarding ISIS that is hypocritical. If he were not conflicted by his obvious allegiance to the prophet, he would pursue ISIS more aggressively. |
