| Man jailed right before marrying a child |

| [Dhaka Tribune] A young man at Ganga Narayanpur village in Bhaatgram union was sentenced to prison for a month on charges of marrying a fifth-grader on Thursday. A ten year old? Md Hazrat Ali, 21, son of Munsur Ali of Sardar Para in Dhaperhaat union, was awarded the jail sentence by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ahsan Habib, also a mobile court judge. The child was still burping milk.
