[IsraelTimes] Dozens were maimed Friday evening in a scuffle between Druze and Moslems in the Israeli Arab town of Abu Snan, in the Western Galilee.At least nine people were moderately to seriously injured in the festivities, and another 26 received treatment for minor injuries, Haaretz reported.
Some of the injuries were from shrapnel wounds, after a grenade was apparently thrown into the fray.
Police dispersed the violent festivities, and officers were dispatched to the scene and will remain in the village until morning in order to maintain calm, Ynet reported.
The circumstances of the brawl were not immediately clear.
